The Belgian d'Uccle and Booted Bantam Club is a dual club.  We represent both the Belgian d'Uccle as well as the Booted Bantam (Sabelpoot).  For brevity the club goes by BDBB.  Our Club Officers, Directors and State Representatives (as well as the support of our membership) continues to make this club complete and help to preserve the quality of the breeds that we represent.  Through exhibition and education, the breeds remain in the public eye and are visible and competitive in the showroom!

​The Belgian d'Uccle and Booted Bantam Club, a non profit organization, was founded in the United States in 1956.  The Founding members originally named the Club "The International Mille Fleur Bantam Club". By the 1960's, the name was changed to "Mille Fleur Bantam Club".  In the late 1970's, the name was again changed and became "The Belgian d'Uccle and Booted Bantam Club", which is still the same today.

Although there are no longer any of the founding club members, we are very proud and grateful for their accomplishments.  It was the results of their dedication and determination that got the club started and helped to maintain it for the past  50+  years; making it one of the top poultry breed clubs in the USA today.

The club was established to encourage the development of fellowship among breeders.  As breeders, we strive to breed to the Standard of Perfection (SOP) and to promote the breeds that we represent through exhibition.

Membership is open for adult members age 18 and above.... and Junior members ages 5 to 18. We invite the entire family to join.
